Interactive Van Gogh Art Exhibition!


For our next cultural event in the community, I will be taking students to the “Interactive Van Gogh Exhibition” that will only be in San Jose from September-November!
This is an incredible opportunity to see Vincent Van Gogh’s paintings come to life with digital effects, where you can walk into a room and be fully immersed in his paintings that are displayed on all four walls, and even the floor! The cost to attend will be $30 (this includes $25 for the admission ticket and $5 for chaperone duties and discussion activities after the exhibit).

August 8th Art Exhibition Field Trip!
Here are the details!
Where: ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art), San Jose Museum of Quilts/Textiles, and MACLA (Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana) in Downtown San Jose
Address: 560 S 1st St, San Jose, CA 95113 (drop off and pick up)
When: Sunday, August 8th 1pm-3:15pm
Itinerary: First, we will visit the ICA exhibit from 1-1:25pm. After, we will walk next door to the MACLA 1:25-1:50pm. Then, we will finish our exhibit viewing with the Museum of Quilts/Textiles from 1:50 pm-2:15pm (also next door). Finally, we will walk across the street to the pastry shop called “Natural Sweet” and grab a smoothie or drink plus a pastry (completely optional!) while we have a guided discussion about the art, write reflections, and have our own arts and crafts time. However, your student can leave at any time prior.
Cost: $15 per student (does not include money for food)
